Co-Enrollment NSO

If you are a student enrolled in a TXST Local program, wherein you earn a TXST degree from your local community college,  we have a special orientation experience just for you.

As a co-enrolled student, we want you to know all of your resources at Texas State.

WHAT TO EXPECT FOR ORIENTATION

Online orientation consists of on-demand asynchronous course modules and a required response form. You must sign up for and complete all NSO requirements within the required timeframe.

WHAT TO EXPECT FOR ACADEMIC ADVISING

After signing up for NSO, you will also be directed to contact TXST Local at Collin College for academic advising, which will include information about course registration. Advising information may only be shared after you have signed up for orientation. Please allow up to 3 business days for your NSO sign-up status to be updated.

You should complete both NSO and academic advising as soon as possible to ensure course registration, financial aid awards, and an overall smooth transition to Texas State.

    • SUMMER 2025 NSO DATES
      • Complete asynchronous online modules by 5 p.m. on May 22, 2025, for June classes
      •  Complete asynchronous online modules by 5 p.m. on June 27, 2025, for July classes

      Failure to complete the NSO requirement by the posted deadline could cause you to be dropped from all enrolled classes.

      ONLINE NSO FEE = $70

      Students signing up for NSO for Summer 2025 will pay a $70 fee at sign-up.* 

      *The NSO fee will be deferred to the semester bill for students who qualify for an application fee waiver and it may be covered, in full or in part, by financial aid.

    • FALL 2025 ONLINE NSO DATES
      •  Complete asynchronous online modules by 5 p.m. on August 22, 2025
